Lamar Odom seemed to have some hope of recovering but now the thirty-six year old former basketball player is stunted in his recovery. After partying way too hard at the Love Ranch in Las Vegas and overdosing via drugs and herbal viagra, it looked like his days were numbered. With the love and support of estranged wife Khloe Kardashian and her family, he was always tended to. They got the best doctors and when he was transferred to Los Angeles, Khloe made sure to keep him comfortable. She was by his bedside every day and called off their divorce, which was “thisclose” to being finalized. That was when she learned that she was still in control of what happened with Odom’s health. E! spoke with a source regarding Odom and this is what they had to say: “He has not spoken in the halls during his therapy. It appears he can’t walk on his own. He has a walker that he does short walks with the aid of therapists. He always is struggling. I saw the other day he got tired after a short session in the walker and had to be transferred back to his wheel chair.”
When Khloe, 31 opened up on the “Today Show,” she had this to say about Lamar’s recovery: “They think, like, within a year and a half to two years that, mentally, he might be fully recovered. But they don’t know.” She also chatted about getting the call that changed her life: “It’s a horrible call to get. Getting to the hospital and knowing he’s in a coma and having to run these tests or make medical decisions. It’s terrifying. You have to make risk-and-reward decisions. Like, OK, well, there’s an 80 percent chance if we do this operation, he might pass away. But also if we don’t do it, there’s a 90 percent chance he’ll pass away.” We really hope that Lamar gets a second chance, if only for his two children with ex Liza Morales and so that Khloe can move on with her life as she is still dating James Harden and claims she and Lamar are dunzo. We shall see.
